Well, since I missed all the challenges so far this week by being sick. You see, I had been staying up all night and day, with a little bit of sleep in between and I believe that is why I got sick. Plus, the pollen in the air doesn't help it all either. I'm still not feeling well, but wanted to do this challenge.
Here is my story:
This is the card I made for the Limited Supplies challenge. We were to make a quick card and have a layout that wouldn't take longer than 30 minutes to make. I decided to use some punch squares of dp that I had already done up and made a quilt card. I started with laying the punched squares of dp onto white c/s. Once I got the laid the pattern out, I attached the squares on and used the cb textile embossing folder on it. Having the emboss look on the outer edge as well. Mounted it onto pink c/s. I made the x's for the stitching with a black journal pen as well. The sentiment is typed on the computer and printed off onto white c/s. Punched out using a scallop circle punch. Added black lines around it. I added 2 flower punches with brads to finished the card. The sentiment is held on with foam tape. Sponged the edges of the card too. This was really fun to make and really quick. Hope you like it! Thanks for the early post. Now, I can go get more rest! Have a wonderful Friday!

WOW!!! Love your card!! It really looks so cozy, and that looks great running the whole thing through the embossing folder to make it look quilited! And I love that your "stitching" is just drawn on.... I have never tried real sewing on a card, and probably won't, so it's nice to see the pen here!! Awesome card!
